We assess children for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) starting at 12 months and up to 6 years old. While a formal diagnosis typically occurs at 18 months or older, early evaluation is crucial for planning interventions.
Moreover, some children might not display all symptoms until they are closer to 3 years old, potentially delaying diagnosis in earlier assessments. Additionally, a few children may not exhibit complete symptoms until later in their childhood.
Diagnostic assessments are often a crucial first step in the journey of autism therapy. Many, but not all, insurance plans cover the cost of autism testing. Allow us to help verify your insurance coverage.
